Pound for pound, Nick Early has proven himself competing in power lifting, weighing in around 145 lbs but wait there's more about Nick. Nick competes in bodybuilding, weighing in at 135 lbs. The following is what Nick has to say about his experience:

Weight training has been the very first part of my interests in bodybuilding. This all started in high school when I competed for 3 years in power lifting meets in the state of Kansas where I set state records for class 2A in bench, squat, and power clean. For years after I continued to lift weights but never had an interest in cardio or sticking to a high protein diet. This all changed this past year when first I made an effort to slow down the partying and take in more protein. Then I started watching the diet a little and started into the cardio.

The results were starting to get intense and the change in my body shape was phenomenal with the motivation and push from Don High and Bob Bittle to train for competition I continued even harder with a stricter diet provided by Don I continued to see incredible results. While Bob was pushing me to throw up crazy weights along with others from the gym, Randy, Jason, and Jas, my muscles continued to look better. Don also was giving me documentation on example posing to work on, Don worked on my posing in the mirrors at the gym until I felt comfortable and I competed in my first show placing 3rd in the novice at the Northwest Arkansas Natural show.

This past year along with the 3rd place novice finish I placed 5th in the men’s open short in the St. Louis Natural, 1st in the Northwest Arkansas NPC classic, 2nd in Arkansas State NPC championships, 3rd in Kansas City Gold’s classic, and 5th in Chicago Supernatural pro qualifier. Also I competed in the Southern Power lifting Christmas classic in Arkansas placing 1st in the 148 lb. class.

“If you want to want to be a pro bodybuilder, you need a team, a support system that provides encouragement, accountability, motivation, information, safety, and perspiration. You want people who will make you work and will be honest with you even if it hurts. ”
